“What makes a Sidekick so Special”
It is with great pleasure that we take this time to give you, the future Sidekick puppy owner, a feeling of how our puppies are raised.
After a few days of Mom bonding with her pups they are started with early neurological stimulation. We follow the Puppy Culture rearing method while adding our own special rearing protocol. When the pups are a little older we continue with as much exposure as safely possible to new and age appropriate stimuli. We include children, puppy outings, various visitors, other safe dogs, exercise and lots of love and interaction.
We watch the pups as they developed and at 8 weeks of age we have temperament and structure testing completed. Then we match you and your new puppy!
It is really important that our puppies get into the home that will best fit who they are, and also that you can fulfill their needs. We have found this system works best to ensure we have happy families with happy well adjusted dogs.
We give them the best possible start that we can and with your continuation of careful socializing you should have a very well adjusted adult dog! The importance of continuing socialization, training and love cannot be stressed enough. And we are always here for guidance if you need us.
When that special day arrives, it is our responsibility to hand you a well adjusted 8 week old baby. It is your responsibility to continue what we started and to keep moving forward. Don’t drop the ball!!!!
We ask that you take a few moments of your time to fill out our “Puppy Questionnaire”. It is not complicated and the information that you supply allows us to understand the needs and expectations that you have of your future companion. It also helps us to match each puppy with the appropriate person/family.
Below you will find our puppy questionnaire. If you are interested in adding a Sidekick puppy to your family please read over the questions and return the completed form by email to [email protected]
